Nobles Construction celebrates contracts worth £1.2m

LIVERPOOL-BASED Nobles Construction has secured two new contracts, worth £1.2m, to redevelop a warehouse in Sidcup and refurbish a health centre in Blackpool.

The firm has extended its reach to the South East of England after winning an £800,000 contract with JJ Foods, which involves restoring an industrial warehouse unit in Kent.

In a separate contract, Assura – which previously appointed Nobles to develop the £4m Laird Street Medical Centre in Birkenhead – awarded the construction firm a £400,000 contract to refurbish Glenroyd Medical Centre, in Blackpool.

The work involves a phased two-storey extension and the refurbishment of the existing centre and its 14 consulting rooms. The project will be managed to enable the practice to remain in operation during the 25-week project, which is scheduled to be finished in July.

Peter Linford, director at Nobles Construction, said: “It’s always encouraging to win repeat work from existing clients.

“It’s an important part of our growth strategy, and there’s no better way to measure client satisfaction than by securing business on the back of previous work.”

Tom Cooke, at Assura, said: “Nobles Construction has an excellent reputation in the health sector and their approach to the Laird Street project has been second to none.

“We’re confident work at Glenroyd will be delivered with minimum disruption to the practice, while also being flexible to our demands and needs.”
