WIRRAL McDonald’s franchisee Paul Griffiths is set to invest £160,000 on the refurbishment of his Birkenhead restaurant
Mr Griffiths will begin the work at the fast food outlet in November in a move that will create five more jobs.
His investment is in addition to the £555,000 he invested in his Bromborough and Wallasey restaurants last year and forms part of a wider £1.2m investment boost from McDonald’s across Merseyside.
The redesigned restaurant will feature free WiFi, new variety of seating options and extended opening hours.
Mr Griffiths said: “The refurbishment demonstrates our ongoing commitment to invest in the local community, both financially and in terms of employment. We’ve had a great response to the new look Bromborough and Wallasey restaurants and are looking forward to bringing the same benefits to our Birkenhead customers and staff.”
Other McDonald’s restaurants benefiting include Walton Road, Hunts Cross and Albert Dock.
