LIVERPOOL specialist care provider Gray Healthcare is to hire more staff after securing a £300,000 funding package.
The firm provides specialist domiciliary care and support services to patients with complex mental health needs for clients across the UK.
The cash for its expansion drive has come from Absolute Invoice Finance.
Gray provides sustained support for people who may or may not have been sectioned under the Mental Health Act, and who have a history of admission, medication and treatment, discharge and re-admission.
Entrepreneur Jonathan Gray set up the business in May, 2009, and was joined by his business partner, Noel Tracey, who became clinical director in November of the same year.
Mr Gray said: “Commonly, community mental health teams have limited resources to support complex mental health service users with challenging needs within the community, which often results in patients remaining in hospitals and other in-patient services for extended periods. We strive to provide patients with a safe and sustainable return to living in the community.”
