WARRINGTON-BASED hospitality software provider Agilysys scored again after securing a deal with Colchester United.
Agilysys specialises in hospitality point-of-sale solutions, which will be placed throughout kiosks, suites and executive boxes at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
It has also installed point-of-sale systems in the club’s onsite shop and its retail store in Colchester.
Tina Stehle, senior vice president and general manager of Agilysys Hospitality Solutions Group, said: “Our knowledge and experience in the stadia sector were key to them, and our proven POS solutions for hospitality and retail enabled them to select Agilysys with confidence.”
The company already operates in some of the UK’s leading stadia, including Lord’s Cricket Ground, Manchester United and London’s 02 Arena.
Colchester United chairman, Robbie Cow- ling, said: “We wanted a proven hospitality software partner with fantastic knowledge of how stadia and arena work in small and large environments, to accommodate our plans today and our strategy for the years to come.
“Agilysys could offer this specialist knowledge and experience, together with its feature-rich solutions.”
Agilysys employs 30 people, up from nine people just two years ago, and has plans to increase its workforce to 50 within a year.
