LIVERPOOL Football Club is to move its TV operation into the city centre, after taking up an option on a further two floors at 20 Chapel Street.
In November, LDP Business revealed that the club was to take a floor at the office scheme with the option of taking another two.
It will now occupy floorspace totalling almost 30,000 sq ft.
The initial accommodation was used to house LFC’s commercial team, and now the extra space will be used to relocate Liverpool FC TV and other digital media staff from their current home in Garston.
Further administrative staff will also relocate to the building, which is in the heart of the city’s central business district.
William Coleman, marketing manager for Rumford Investments, owner of 20 Chapel Street, said: “Despite current economic conditions 20 Chapel Street is filling up fast which affirms our belief that the building is Liverpool’s premier office location.
“We are delighted that Liverpool FC has taken up its option and taken more space in the building.”
