Bardsley Construction starts work on north Liverpool apartments

BARDSLEY Construction has started work on a £3.5m contract to build new homes in north Liverpool for Eldonians and Liverpool Housing Trust.

The Manchester-based firm will build the Sibert House development which will comprise 40, two-bedroom apartments.

Wayne Bardsley, chairman of Bardsley Construction, said: “We are delighted to be working with Eldonians on this excellent project that will improve housing options for people in Liverpool.

“The Canalside development further increases our presence on Merseyside and indeed throughout the wider North West.”

Eldonians chairman Tony McGann said: “The Eldonians see Sibert House as the starting point for the regeneration of north Liverpool.

“We are happy to continue to develop schemes which will provide a high percentage of much needed affordable social housing in this area.

“Sibert House is, we hope, the first of many schemes we have planned for the future,” he added.
