Glow New Media creates Liverpool Cathedral website

LIVERPOOL Cathedral has teamed up with city agency Glow New Media to launch a new website.

Glow, which has also worked with organisations including Tate Liverpool and Visit Chester & Cheshire, says the website had to live up to the “exacting aesthetic standards” set by the cathedral’s architect Giles Gilbert Scott.

Glow director Phil Blything said “Liverpool Cathedral is iconic. It dominates the skyline and, for a Unesco World Heritage skyline, that’s impressive.

“The website absolutely had to live up to that. We focused on the architecture itself and that really comes through.

“This a living, working church and more important than the aesthetics was making sure that the website properly represents the cathedral’s diverse communities, its status as an award-winning visitor attraction and, most importantly, spirituality and God.”
