Ignite Liverpool: From Batman to the illusion of money

THERE aren’t many conferences where discussion topics range from Batman to whether money is an illusion – but then there aren’t many conferences like Ignite.

Last night, Liverpool’s Static Gallery hosted the third Ignite event, a “geek culture” celebration where speakers gave five minute presentations on subjects close to their hearts.

Alex Nolan spoke about why villains never managed to defeat Batman, while Richard Smedley debated the meaning of money and the power of banks.
