THE North West leisure and alternative investment team at CB Richard Ellis has been instructed to advise on and dispose of a health, fitness and racquets club in Shropshire.
An established and successful club with an existing membership of around 3,500, the facility presents an acquisition opportunity for either a corporate or regional operator.
The club is set on a large site, which has further development potential to introduce additional facilities, such as 5-a-side football.
Shaun Skidmore, director in the leisure and alternative investment team at CBRE North West, said: “Over the past decade, the fitness market has grown significantly, with an increasing number of people now considering gym membership to be a necessity rather than a luxury.”
