LIVERPOOL-BASED Whitegates is seeking lots for its next property auction, in November.
The firm will hold its next event at the Radisson Blu hotel, in Liverpool city centre, on November 10.
Whitegates, based in Walton Vale, is encouraging those who might not have tried an auction before to come in for advice on what to expect before the event.
Director Debbie Taylor said: “It can be daunting if you haven’t been before, but if you’re selling your home or property, an auction offers a real alternative.
“It removes a lot of the uncertainty because you avoid buyers that back out at the last minute, since the final bid at the auctioneer’s hammer is legally binding.
“Plus, it’s a much quicker process than selling your house on the market, as the deal is done in 28 days.
“We’re living in what many experts believe is a buyer’s market; an auction gives some of that control back to the seller.”
