LIVERPOOL John Lennon Airport’s Hampton by Hilton hotel has won gold standard in the “Best Airport for Families” category of a national awards.
The facility, operated by Peel Leisure, was honoured in the second annual Holiday Extras Customers’ Awards 2010.
More than 24,000 customers cast their votes in the awards, which asked for air travel experiences across 12 categories, including 112 airlines, 28 UK airports and hundreds of airport hotels, lounges and car parks.
Peter de la Perrelle, Peel Leisure director, said: “We are delighted to win this award at the Hampton.
“We strive to make every stay enjoyable for our guests, and it is wonderful to receive this award in just our first year of operation.”
