THE City Point office development, in Great Homer Street, Liverpool, has signed up Liverpool Mutual Homes as its latest tenant.
The housing association has taken 3,347 sq ft of accommodation.
The deal means that just four suites, totalling 5,993 sq ft, remain at the north Liverpool building. There are a total of 16 suites in the property.
Liverpool Mutual Homes’ senior investment manager, Clifford Stanley, said: “We are very pleased with the office space at City Point.
“The move is an extension of Šour office network and we have Šboth contact centre and investment teamsŠ based here.
“So far, feedback from our staff has been excellent.
“They really like the location, in particular the parking facilities, and they have commented that there is lots of light and space in the offices.”
In addition to Liverpool Mutual Homes, other recently-signed tenants of City Point include Liverpool Compact, Creative Solutions and Oxygen Support Services.
Facilities at the site include car parking, door entry system and private kitchens.
The 24,787 sq ft property is owned by Liverpool-based Oscar Developments.
The office space is spread over a five-storey building divided into 16 suites each measuring around 1,500 sq ft.
There is an option to move flexible floor plates for potential tenants requiring up to 6,000 sq ft.
Joint agents are Mason Owen and CB Richard Ellis.
Andrew Owen, head of business space at Mason Owen, said: “It’s good news that City Point is now 76% full.
“Tenants have commended the development for the same reasons – affordable rent and added extras such as free car parking.
“These are things that city centre office space just cannot compete with.
“There is another 6,000 sq ft available, but we’ve had some very positive enquiries, so this space will get snapped up soon.”
