Liverpool Design Festival kicks off this week
MERSEYSIDE’S design sector is going under the spotlight this week with the start of the Liverpool Design Festival.
The event, which starts on Thursday and runs until Saturday, November 27, includes events across the city with opportunities to view exhibitions and meet independent designers and craftspeople.
The biggest event is Liverpool Design Show, which will be held in St George’s Hall on Saturday and Sunday. It will showcase the work of 70 designers and makers of furniture, fashion, ceramics, accessories, lighting, jewellery and decorative art.
Festival director Tara Badami said: “ If you appreciate quality, innovation and beauty, the Design Show is the place to come.”
