SIX new graduate recruits have joined the Liverpool waterfront office of business services firm KPMG, boosting the local workforce to almost 90 staff.
Ian Goalen, senior partner at the Princes Parade office, welcomed the new intake and said: “With signs that the worst of the recession may be behind us, the outlook is starting to look a little brighter for professional services firms.”
Mr Goalen added: “At KPMG we are positioning ourselves for selective growth, particularly in our advisory services where we have the opportunity to make the most of a sweet spot ahead, when restructuring continues to be busy as we emerge from recession, while at the same time mergers and acquisitions activity really starts to take off.”
The latest recruits to be taken on to the Liverpool office’s team include Jamie Higgins, Jade Van, who graduated from the University of Liverpool this summer, Fflur Iorwerth, Emily Huxley, who graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2009, Robby Petchey and Jamie Steel.
