ONE of Liverpool’s best-known design agencies has celebrated a decade in business.
Simon Rhodes founded Smiling Wolf in 2000, and today the company, based in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle district, employs a “pack” of seven people.
It works regularly with Liverpool’s Foundation for Art and Creative Technology.
Smiling Wolf also designed the website for The Kooks’ debut album, Inside In/Outside Out, and worked with BCA Landscape on a project to regenerate the centre of Burscough, West Lancashire.
Smiling Wolf's digital animation accompanying the Burscough Bridge project won it a Silver Roses Design Award in 2009.
Owner and creative director Simon Rhodes said: “As well as being lucky enough to secure fantastic clients from all sorts of sectors, I also believe we've continued to flourish because we have a committed and very talented team.”
Mr Rhodes was one of the founders of Design Symposium North, the design showcase held in Liverpool last month.
