AIRBUS has received its first major order of 2011, for six A380 superjumbos.
Asiana Airlines made the deal with the plane maker, which has a wing-making plan in Broughton.
The South Korean firm made a firm order for six aircraft, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2014.
The airline plans to operate the aircraft on key routes to Europe and the US.
It will make an engine selection for its A380 fleet in the near future.

At the same time, the significantly reduced operating costs and fuel efficiencies afforded by the aircraft will enable us to enhance our productivity and reduce our carbon footprint.
