BOOTLE renewable energy firm Eco Environments has linked up with Scottish wind turbine manufacturer Proven Energy.
The company, which last month opened new offices in Darlington, has been granted Value Added Reseller status by Proven for its 35-2 wind turbine.
Eco Environments director David Hunt said: “We are looking forward to a long and successful partnership with Proven, helping the company to take its innovative and exciting range of products to customers.”
The Bootle firm specialises in providing homes and businesses with renewable energy solutions, including Solar Photovoltaic, wind turbines, solar thermal water heating systems and heat pumps.
Proven’s turbine allows end users to benefit from the Feed in Tariff (FIT) scheme which pays home owners and businesses for every Kilowatt hour of electricity they generate, whether they use it or not.
Mr Hunt said: “Customers are becoming increasingly knowledgeable about the benefits of FIT.
“They save the equivalent amount by not having to buy the electricity they have generated, while also being paid for any electricity they export.”
He added it has become an attractive proposition for investors.
The firm also has offices in Manchester, Penrith and Tamworth.
