PUBLIC RELATIONS firm Bell Pottinger North is working with Merseyside’s five specialist hospitals to showcase the region as the UK’s “specialist healthcare capital”.
Alder Hey Children’s, Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Liverpool Women’s and The Walton Centre are working together under new brand “The Famous Five”.
Mel Pickup, chief executive of The Walton Centre, said: “All the hospitals feel it is important that people living on Merseyside know about the expertise that is on their doorstep.”
Linsey Henshaw, healthcare director of Liverpool-based Bell Pottinger North, said: “This builds on the work we’ve been doing with NHS organisations across the North West.”
