RUMFORD Investments is reporting it secured almost 42,000 sq ft of lettings in 2010 at its 20, Chapel Street development, in Liverpool.
New tenants included Liverpool Football Club, which has taken occupation of nearly 30,000 sq ft of space over three floors, stockbroking and investment management group Charles Stanley, which took 7,600 sq ft, and interactive voice messaging technology specialists Qire, which took 4,000 sq ft.
Mike Stares, director of Rumford Investments, said: “We have proven that a quality product will attract quality clients, even when the market conditions are as difficult as they are and against strong competition.
“We are delighted by the level of lettings that we managed to achieve last year largely by working closely with our agents and tailoring deals to suit tenants requirements.
“Nor have we rested on our laurels, and will be announcing another new tenant next week.”
Agents on the scheme are Hitchcock Wright & Partners, Mason Owen and DTZ.
