CHILDREN’S television icon Johnny Ball has recorded voiceovers for two promotional videos for Liverpool design agency Uniform.
The agency, which is working with clients from brewing giant Carlsberg to the development team regenerating the Qatari capital Doha, is using the films on its relaunched website.
One of the films discusses Uniform’s design philosophy, while another discusses how the agency’s branding process.
Johnny Ball is best known for his children’s television shows that popularised science and maths, including Think Of a Number.
Uniform managing director Nick Howe said: “We wanted Johnny Ball to be the voice of Uniform, just because he seemed to be the perfect choice for us. He’s a really classic storyteller because he’s authoritative and accessible.”
“When Johnny Ball tells a story, you listen to it.
“It was a great experience working with him.”
Uniform’s client list includes household products giant Unilever and the Museum of London.
