LIVERPOOL Innovation Park has this week announced new funding for marketing support for small firms in the knowledge sector.
The 40%-funded AIMS programme (Assist In Marketing Strategy) is aimed at private companies with fewer than 250 employees with high growth potential, to help them develop new and existing markets.
Delivered through a combination of free one-to-one marketing clinics, seminars and 40% funding for marketing support, the new project will be run in conjunction with Chester-based Quay Marketing.
It is hoped that the 40% funding initiative will help entrepreneurs, start-ups and existing businesses to develop their opportunities and create new jobs.
Elizabeth Wheeler, senior consultant for Quay Marketing, said: “With the current economic climate still a challenge for many businesses, and Government funding for business support drying up, the new 40% funding through the AIMS Programme plans to help businesses strategically plan and pave a way forward.”
