ROYAL Mail has appointed property agents from Liverpool’s Mason Owen to sell a large site just outside the city centre.
Agents from the firm have been tasked with finding a buyer for Royal Mail’s road transport workshop, in Stanhope Street.
The site, which is located within the Cains brewery complex, carries a price tag of £795,000.
The property comprises 34,419 sq ft of industrial premises including two-storey offices, concertina loading doors, seven metre eaves, HGV inspection pits and an overhead crane.
There is also an enclosed yard and car park set within the total site area of 1.68 acres.
The premises benefit from access to the Mersey Tunnels, south Liverpool and the M62 and M57/58 motorways, all of which are less than six miles away.
Paul Thorne, of Mason Owen’s business space team, said: “We are delighted to represent Royal Mail as sole agents on this property.
“It offers a rare opportunity to own good quality freehold industrial accommodation close to the city centre.
“Although the property has only just gone out to the market, we have already begun to receive strong levels of interest.”
