FOUR social media specialists from Wirral marketing agency ICE have taken part in an international social marketing conference.
Aaron Garside, Richard Forshaw, Jayne Hampson and Amanda Jackson spoke at the World Non-Profit and Social Marketing Conference, in Dublin.
They discussed ways of using social marketing techniques to solve social problems including alcohol abuse and health inequalities among young people.
Mr Garside, director of social change at ICE, said: “Traditional advertising raises awareness about social issues, but social marketing is a powerful tool which, when used properly, can drive positive and sustained behaviour change on big social challenges.
“This conference was a fantastic opportunity both to showcase our abilities and to share and learn with some of the world’s leading experts spanning public health, academia and not-for-profit organisations.”
