A DIGITAL marketing conference held in Liverpool yesterday examined the future development of the sector.
Insight 11 was held at the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT) and more than 50 delegates heard about ways to develop their marketing strategy through digital communications.
Speakers included Gala Pujol, the artistic director of Moves International Festival of Movement on Screen, who looked at creative uses of QR codes – the matrix barcodes that can be scanned and linked to online resources – and Phil Blything, of Glow New Media, who talked about how to get senior management support for social media projects.
Insight 11 was organised by Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, which itself uses a wide range of social media tools to communicate with its members.
The event was followed by a “tweetup”, for users of social media service Twitter.
