THREE performers teamed up for a trans- continental concert to promote the Merseyside-built Range Rover Evoque.
Cee Lo Green, Paolo Nutini and Mark Ronson performed simultaneous gigs in New York, Milan and Shanghai respectively on Saturday night.
The audience at each venue could see performances from the other cities on giant display screens.
The Range Rover Evoque Live event marked the start of a promotional campaign in 100 cities worldwide as the car company bids to promote its latest model.
Range Rover’s parent, Jaguar Land Rover, employs more than 3,000 staff at its Halewood plant, which has already started building the Evoque. It will go on sale later this year.
The Evoque was first launched at a glamorous event in London last July, at which Range Rover revealed Victoria Beckham would be its “creative design executive”.
The vehicle has been well-received by critics. In March, the Evoque was named best production car in the Car Design of the Year awards.
