CLLR Malcolm Kennedy, Liverpool council cabinet member for regeneration and transport, will open an envelope this afternoon to reveal whether firms in Liverpool’s commercial area have voted to become members of a Business Improvement District (BID).
His announcement follows a recent ballot of businesses from the city’s commercial district. BID status will mean firms get improved local services in return for an additional levy on their business rates.
