Sign company launches PR and marketing arm

A SIGN-MAKING and graphics company has launched its own PR and marketing arm.

AGX, of Burscough, has seen clients such as Wirral-based Daisy and Jake Nurseries sign up with its new “marketing and communications” team.

AGX director Keith Roscoe-Jones says the company, which specialises in commercial signs and graphics, decided to expand its offering because its clients were looking for other ways to market their businesses.

He said: “A large number of our clients are often either setting up in business or looking to raise their profile in highly competitive industries.

“We have identified a gap in the market to offer comprehensive communications packages to support our clients’ success.

“In addition to our existing visual products such as signage, design and print solutions, we now offer a marketing and PR consultancy option. This is a proposition that no other sign provider offers.

“We are extremely excited about AGX’s new venture. Our philosophy is not to stand still. Whatever challenge we as a business face, as a creative solutions provider we will not cease developing and providing innovative lateral solutions.”

The owner of Daisy and Jake Nurseries, Lisa Collins, is among the 16 finalists in the Liverpool Daily Post’s Woman of the Year Awards.

She said: “We appreciate the importance of external communications but just don’t have the resource or expertise internally. After meeting Keith, he explained how AGX could support us.

“Despite each of our nurseries nearing full capacity we are constantly developing new initiatives for our children and their families. Currently, we are working towards our Green Flag award to become the first nursery in Wirral to qualify as a registered Eco School.

“In such a competitive industry we need to differentiate ourselves and publicise our achievements. We are confident AGX will do just that.”
