THE marketing campaign for arts extravaganza Liverpool Biennial has been named as the best of its kind in the North.
The Touched campaign to promote last year’s event won the Tourism and Leisure category at the Marketing Society’s Northern Awards.
The awards aim to “celebrate the creativity and achievement across the marketing industry in the North”.
Other winners included Huyton drinks firm Halewood International, whose campaign with BJL, “Lambrini Lady – The Lost Political Generation”, was named Best Drink Campaign.
Gemma Greaves, director of the Marketing Society, said: “To have such high calibre organisations entering in the second year is a testament to the talent and creativity within the region.
“It is clear the awards are going from strength. We look forward to repeating the awards next year and setting entry records again.”
