Property group Knight Frank axes Liverpool office

PROPERTY specialist Knight Frank is closing its Liverpool office and retrenching to Manchester.

The company said today that following a strategic restructuring review it is “consolidating its North West operations to its Manchester office – a consolidation which will see the closure of its offices at Horton House in Liverpool”.

It said the restructuring will result in redundancies and consultations will take place with affected staff over the next fortnight.

David Porter, Head of North West Commercial, said: “This strategic review of our services will enable us to refocus our commitment to Merseyside and we will continue to work with our clients to provide the highest level of service across the region.

“This consolidation will, regrettably, result in some redundancies from within the agency teams. This is a difficult time and we want ensure that these decisions are made in a sensitive manner. We are currently in a period of consultation with teams from across the North West.”
