LIVERPOOL’S Cotton Exchange has unveiled a new £400,000 reception entrance.
The entrance, in Bixteth Street, was refurbished by owner company Bruntwood.
The reception will welcome the 48 businesses currently located in the Grade II-listed building.
Bruntwood’s refurbishment works included relocating the reception area, as well as unlocking many of the building’s period features, including the restoration of the original internal domes.
Colin Forshaw, head of sales at the firm, said: “The Cotton Exchange is one of the city’s most iconic office buildings and it now has a reception area befitting of its stature.
“When we embarked on the refurbishment works, we wanted to give the building a real heart and have succeeded in creating a contemporary focal point that is sympathetic to the Cotton Exchange’s architecture.
“We will continue to invest in the building and maintain its place as one of Liverpool’s most sought- after office addresses.”
