THE Liverpool office of building firm Morgan Sindall has contributed to the group’s “solid” half-year performance with a number of contract wins.
Key project wins for the Liverpool operation include a £4.6m scheme to build Croxteth Primary School for Liverpool City Council and a £2.8m contract with Land Securities to build a 59,400 sq ft retail unit at Greyhound Retail Park. in Chester.
This will house the north of England’s first John Lewis At Home store.
In the West Derby area of Liverpool, Morgan Sindall is nearing completion on the first phase of a £37m scheme to build a replacement Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School for Boys and Broughton Hall High School for Girls for Liverpool City Council.
The project also features a shared sixth form which will bridge between the new schools to make up an entire education complex.
The company is also continuing work on a £19m regeneration project in Stockbridge Village, for Knowsley Council.
