MERSEYSIDE green energy firm Eco Environments has secured £130,000 funding from the Government’s Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) scheme to drive growth and support its expansion plans.
The successful application, made with the support of Hoan Tu, a commercial manager within HSBC’s Liverpool commercial banking team, provides Eco Environments with the finance it needs to progress its ambitious expansion plans.
Established three years ago, Eco Environments has quickly established itself as a leading provider of renewable energy products such as solar panels and wind turbines, for both domestic and commercial premises, helping to increase turnover six fold to £1.4m last year.
Over the past few years, demand for green products has flourished, and the company plans to use its EFG loan to purchase greater volumes of solar panels from its supplier, allowing it to target a greater number of customers.
Mark Buchanan, technical director of Eco Environments, said: “This funding will enable us to increase our output and ultimately help us grow our business and our turnover. We’re looking forward to continuing to work with the team at HSBC, who have shown us incredible support from the outset.”
