LIVERPOOL John Lennon Airport’s biggest carrier by passenger numbers, Easyjet, is increasing capacity in its summer schedule next year.
It continues to offer more than 30 European destinations but will boost flights on three key routes by starting operations earlier.
Services on the popular routes to Rhodes and Naples will commence on March 28, and Ibiza services will start on July 3.
The airline, which bases nine jets at the airport, said more than 1.4m seats will be available on its Liverpool flights throughout the summer season, from March 25 to September 2.
Easyjet commercial manager Ali Gayward said: “With winter fast approaching, the launch of our summer 2012 schedule allows passengers to look forward and book early to secure the best fares for annual sunshine holidays and weekend getaways next year.
“Business passengers can also benefit from easy and affordable travel to the widest range of European city destinations yet, to central airports at convenient times.”
