Uniform secures Canadian deal

DESIGN and branding agency Uniform won an international pitch to work on a promotional campaign for a Canadian university.

Liverpool-based Uniform worked with DDB Canada on the “start an evolution” campaign to target the 260,000 alumni, donors and friends of the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver.

It produced two animated films for the campaign, recruiting long-term musical partner P&S to write a score.

Uniform says DDB’s UBC project is “the most ambitious fundraising and alumni engagement campaign in Canadian history”.

Laurie Jones, creative director at Uniform, said: “We were delighted to be part of the team. UBC and DDB Canada have been fantastic and it’s a real pleasure to be involved in such a project.

Steve Ardern, Uniform’s business development director, said: “Collaborating with other agencies is something we encourage and practise – it’s a major part of our business strategy”.
