Skelmersdale builder CPUK adds to its healthcare project order book

SKELMERSDALE builder Construction Partnership UK (CPUK) has added to its growing pipeline of healthcare contracts.

A £600,000 14-bed extension to Brook View Nursing and Residential Centre, in Alderley Edge, for private healthcare provider Bupa, will take its order book in the sector to almost £7m over the past 18 months.

Steve Burke, CPUK managing director, said: “We are very pleased to have won this contract with Bupa, which is one of the leading names in healthcare in the UK.” He said the contract emphasised the group’s expertise in the health sector, and its growing reputation among healthcare providers and developers.

Earlier this year, another CPUK project, a £1.5m healthcare practice in Preston, was officially opened.

The company has also completed the construction of a £3.5m “revolutionary” care home in Southport for UK dementia sufferers, operated by Altrincham-based care provider Melton Health Care.
