LIVERPOOL brewer Cains is bringing live debate on some of Everton and Liverpool’s big games this season from its Toxteth brewery, in a deal with Radio City.
City and its football legends will broadcast from Cains’ Brewery Tap, backed by fans of both clubs, in a sponsorship with Cains Finest Export Lager.
Cains joint managing director Sudarghara Dusanj said: “Beer and football go hand in hand. If fans aren’t at the match, they’re debating it in the pub.
“We thought, why not capture that passion straight from the pub and turn The Brewery Tap into a studio for the day?”
Radio City station manager Richard Maddock added: “Cains Brewery and its beers are as representative of the city as Liverpool and Everton Football Clubs.
“It’s a great venue for a fan- focused live commentary, because it’s associated with the passion that everyone here feels for football and things which are undoubtedly Merseyside.”
The first live game will be Everton v Fulham, this Sunday.
