DIRECTORS and staff at design and branding agency Uniform have shaved off their facial hair to prepare for a month of moustache growing.
The Liverpool company has signed up to international charity event Movember, which sees men grow their moustaches during November to raise awareness of men’s health issues such as prostate cancer.
Director Scott McCubbin and 13 of his colleagues had their faces shaved at Route 69 barbers, in Hanover Street, on Monday. They will not shave again until December.
Uniform’s Movember team is called “Unifumanchu”.
McCubbin said:“Many of us guys at Uniform have had our beards for a good 8-10 years, so it was a big step to get rid of them. We were happy to step up to the game in support of a great cause and look forward to raising lots of money for prostate cancer while growing some (hopefully) brilliant moustaches in the meanwhile.”
