TOURISM agency The Mersey Partnership (TMP) has beaten global competition to be named “destination marketing team of the year”.
TMP was honoured at the Conference & Incentive Travel Awards at the Natural History Museum in London. It won its category against competition including Malta Tourism and Visit Scotland.
TMP was praised for the range and quality of its marketing and PR work, which included an advertising campaign in London.
The judges said: “These efforts have played a huge part in Liverpool becoming a serious player in the convention market, attracting the likes of the TUC and Labour Party conferences”.
