Positivity Club will talk up the Merseyside economy

A GROUP of 25 Merseyside business movers and shakers will get together over lunch next week and attempt to “talk up” the Liverpool city region economy.

The first invitation-only meeting of the Positivity Club will take place on Wednesday, November 30, at the Hope Street Hotel.

Organised by Chris Shirling-Rooke, of CTS Compliance, the event will see business luminaries such as Sue Weir, chief executive of Medicash and John Hall, head of Professional Liverpool, in attendance.

Mr Shirling-Rooke said: “The focus will be on positivity.

“Very simply, talking the economy and our own individual businesses up.

“If you have small growth or are just breaking even, in this climate, it’s to be celebrated, not feared.”
