Priority Sites secures two lettings at Turnstone

PRIORITY Sites has announced details of two lettings at its Turnstone Business Park scheme, in Widnes.

The arrival of Comfomatic and Eterniti Steels means that the site in the Widnes Waterfront regeneration area is now 85% let or sold, with just three self-contained units from 1,350 sq ft to 3,800 sq ft remaining.

Cheshire firm Comfomatic has taken a 3,500 sq ft unit to create a head office for its mobility products operation. The company – which employs 22 people and has a network of 35 sales agents nationwide – supplies a wide range of British-made adjustable beds and rise and recline chairs.

A key feature of Comfomatic’s Widnes HQ will be the creation of a new call centre.

The company expects to recruit up to 20 new telesales staff.

National sales manager, Mike McNicolas, said: “We have ambitious development plans for the company and believe that Turnstone Business Park is an ideal base to implement them from.”

The second new occupier, Eterniti Steels, is creating its North West sales office in a 2,300 sq ft unit at the park.

The company has a turnover of £40m a year and is the UK’s largest independent steel plate and steel sheet stockist.

Phil Haslam, senior development manager for Priority Sites, said: “We are delighted to welcome these two successful and expanding companies to Turnstone Business Park.

“It’s also very encouraging that the scheme is now heading towards full occupancy, despite the difficult economic climate.”
