Lloyds and RSA ‘in talks’ over release of CFO Culmer

LLOYDS Banking Group is reportedly offering a £6m ‘golden hello’ package to release George Culmer from his 12-month notice period as chief financial officer at Liverpool insurer RSA.

The two groups are believed to be in talks with Lloyds keen for Mr Culmer to begin work early in the new year.

Lloyds shares have fallen due to a perceived power vacuum at the top due to the stress-related absence of its chief executive António Horta-Osório.
