LIVERPOOL agency Sphere Design has been named strategic partner for design by the UK arm of one of the biggest meat producers in Europe.
Sphere has been working with VION Food Group for ten years, but says the move solidifies the relationship between the businesses.
Sphere specialises in food packaging design and brand identity. It has worked with companies including Newton-le-Willows-based Vimto manufacturer, Nichols, and Liverpool-based food group, John West.
Dutch group VION is one of the worlds leading food companies.
Its UK arm, which has more than 45 sites across the country including one in Deeside, is working with Sphere to develop its own brands.
Tony Casson, head of creative at Sphere, said: This move shows that established regional agencies like Sphere, with a great pedigree in the fast- moving consumer goods markets, can really hold their own in the food and drinks sector."
