Anfield Business Centre to officially open in February

ANFIELD Business Centre (ABC), a new serviced office space which it is hoped will help to regenerate and revive the Liverpool suburb, is to officially open in February.

The five-storey centre, a former Department of Work and Pensions building in Breckfield Road, has undergone a £500,000 refurbishment.

It aims to attract both start-ups and established businesses to the Anfield area.

It is hoped the influx of new companies will play a big role in regenerating the area by pumping money back into the local economy. Anfield is one of the most deprived areas of Liverpool.

The ABC will be holding an opening event in February, sponsored by law firm, Paul Crowley & Co, Solicitors.

Tracy Thompson, from Paul Crowley & Co, said: “The ABC is a really fantastic new business initiative, which we’re proud to be able to support.

“Based right in the heart of the Anfield community, the centre will closely support regeneration here and will hopefully attract new businesses into the area, which is great news for Anfield and for businesses like ours that are already based there.

“It’s an ideal partnership for us, as their community-driven ethos and dedication to creating more local jobs, closely aligns to our own.”

A number of businesses have confirmed they will move into the 30,000 sq ft centre.
