WIRRAL painting and property services firm Hankinson Painting Group has relocated its headquarters within Birkenhead.
The company is moving from Monks Quay to Cotton Place, a detached office building in Ivy Street.
Property consultants, Smith and Sons, helped Hankinson to secure the lease on behalf of client Merseyside Estates.
The move has been driven by continued growth across the business and, in particular, the acquisition of Whittle Programmed Painting earlier this year.
Cotton Place is set over two floors and comprises a total floor area of 8,386 sq ft with 30 on-site car parking spaces and has views across the waterfront.
As part of the relocation programme, Smith and Sons has disposed of premises at Portside and Alexander House, at Monks Ferry, on Hankinson’s behalf.
Stephen Hankinson, chief executive of Hankinson and Whittle, said: “As a Wirral-based business that has been operating for some 36 years, our business today is a national one.
“As we grow, and with the acquisition of Whittle, we recognised the need to take the next step into a head office that could facilitate further expansion plans.”
