APP developer Apposing has agreed a partnership deal with Liverpool arts organisation FACT.
Apposing, which is now based at FACTs Wood Street home, will work with the organisation as technology consultants.
It will also work with FACT on projects including online platform ArtPlayer.tv and events for schools.
Apposings founder Dave Brown was co-curator of technology and design conference TEDx Liverpool, held at FACT in November.
The company has created apps for brands including Liam Gallaghers Pretty Green clothing range, Chester Zoo and Unilever.
FACT chief executive Mike Stubbs said: Dave Brown is a digital native who represents a new kind of entrepreneurialism that demonstrates being creative and commercially savvy dont have to be mutually exclusive.
I am hopeful that this cross-fertilisation between public and private sectors can help keep Liverpool at the pointy end of digital innovation.
