DESIGN agency Sphere has created a label for a new limited edition festive drink from the makers of Vimto.
Sphere, which specialises in food packaging design and brand identity, designed the label for Vimto Hot Mulled Berry Punch.
The agency says the label “has a subtle festive feel and visually combines original Vimto’s ingredients with the seasonal spices cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg”.
The punch, launched by Vimto’s Newton-le-Willows-based parent company Nichols, is on sale at Tesco.
Tony Casson, head of creative at Sphere, said: “The aim was to blend contemporary and traditional design elements, ensuring the new product could be recognised as part of the Vimto range – essentially Vimto – but distinctive enough to set it apart.”
Last week Sphere announced it had been named “strategic partner for design” by VION Food Group, the UK arm of one of the biggest meat producers in Europe.
