BUSINESS in the Community has called on firms across the region to enter its annual Awards for Excellence that recognise responsible businesses.
Last year, eight North West companies were recognised in the national awards, including Warrington-based water company United Utilities and Newton-le-Willows plant hire firm Speedy.
Raksha Pattni, regional director of Business in the Community, said: “As friction between communities and business continues to dominate the headlines, it’s time to showcase that business can be a force for good.”
