EWLOE-BASED price comparison website Moneysupermarket.com will today launch a television advertising campaign that claims the website can save families an average of £1,000 a year.
The new advert, set in Las Vegas, will receive its debut screening during the interval of this evening’s episode of Coronation Street.
The advert will initially run for 60 seconds, though its duration will reduce to 20-second slots after two weeks.
The company describes its campaign as the broadest it has ever run, claiming to be able to save consumers money across a range of financial services including car and home insurance, credit cards and loans.
MoneySupermarket.com’s director of consumer marketing, Paul Troy, said: “In a year where the Bank of England predicts the average family will be £1,000 worse off, it’s more important than ever to help people save money on all their household bills – not just their car insurance. It’s very funny, and will make people feel good about saving money.”
