THE second of two thank you lunches from Merseyside Chambers of Commerce for mentors on a new jobs initiative takes place next Friday.
The Chambers delivered the New Enterprise Allowance Initiative last year, which recently created its 500th new business, in Wirral.
They sought the help of local mentors to support the scheme and last week staged a lunch at Aintree Racecourse to thank them, and outline new opportunities in the next phase of the programme this year.
The second lunch will take place next Friday, February 3, at the new ground of St Helens Rugby League Club.
Sefton Chamber chief executive Steve Dickson said: “All of us and our teams have been so impressed with the skill and dedication shown by the mentors, and the results speak for themselves.”
