EASYJET, the biggest carrier by passenger numbers at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, reported a 6.2% increase in passenger numbers for October.
It carried 5.24m passengers last month compared with 4.94m in the same month a year ago.
The load factor, or number of available seats sold, fell 0.4% to 88.4% compared with the same time last year.
Its overall rolling 12 month figures show a 7% increase in passenger numbers of 58.7m, and a 1.3% jump in the load factor to 88.6%
